People are saying that's it's a test vehicle still with all the guts but the WRX exterior.

I'm almost certain it is just a mule with STi guts. But what I gotta ask is... originally I heard dual exhaust (one on each side of the car) and i was fine with that... but TWIN TIP DUAL!? that's one pipe for each cylinder! Call me crazy but that's a bit unnecessary. The interior is absolutely gorgeous though. If you can't get a nav system in one of those I guess I'll just have to build one of my own to put it in.

I am willing to bet it is a typo. I cannot see having one pipe for each cylinder all the way back. There is no way to use 1 turbo with an exhaust setup like that. I'm willing to bet it is a 4-2-1-2-4 setup. It has to go mono-pipe for a single turbo setup.

The WRX sedan has dual exhausts. It's not like it's that hard to put on a dual tip.

Aye that was a typo on my end.. i was speaking of 4 tips for each cylinder. I duno I just cant wait until it comes out

We'll see. It's my personal belief that they wanted to test the STi in "real world" environments, but since the new body style is so hush-hush they needed to keep it looking like a rex. Subaru has used "mules" before with prototype legacys as well.

The STi will have quad tipped exhaust , like that of some bmw cars.

That is in fact a test mule, As its missing all the STi body parts. The new STi still doesnt have me running down to subaru... Glad I bought when I did.
