Hi all,

This is my first post on imprezaworld, I used to be mainly on nasioc, and recently iwsti. It's nice to see that more impreza forums are appearing and hope this will add even more useful information about our cars.

So, I was looking for slightly lowering springs with higher rates and heard lots of very good feedbacks from people having the non progressive Espelir GT springs (the red ones, spring rates f280-r230, NOT the blue softer ASD, or active super down).
So I just ordered the Espelir GT springs and Tokico D-Spec struts for my 03 WRX sedan (with the 04 top hats and Scooby921 spacer). People were saying they were not too hard and the ride was actually good even on rough roads.

Then I saw on iwsti a guy saying that theses ride like a tank. Im a little afraid now that I made the wrong choice, any other people tried theses ? I'd like to see as much pictures of them mounted on cars and to confirm the actual ride height as some appears to be lower than others, as well as the ride quality and how you like theses in general.

Thanks !

Frederik

im going to assume that any non progressive springs are going to give you somewhat of a harsh ride as the rate is the same throughout the spring. I could be wrong and will never attest to being a spring expert. just put them on, keep your stockers and try them. I did that with the RCE springs and after some time I decided they weren't for me so I bought some prodrives and im happy. Sold the RCE's easily and didn't lose anything except a few dollars from the sale
