May possibly be moving up to MN

My wife and I may be moving up there if she gets this job. My question is how well does your WRX do in snowy conditions?

I've debated an uber-cheap Ford Focus, but I'd really prefer AWD (WRX).

So please feel free to post up your opinions!

never driven in the snow but im assuming most people with wrx's that live in those areas daily drive them on snow tires without much of a problem. I'd rather have AWD.

Well I've given up on the STi...wife can't stand all the "ricer" qualities of it. hahahah

It really does not surprise me though. I may be able to talk her into the new WRX's though, especially if she gets the job up there.


If she does we have to get an SUV. It is one of those things we agreed on.

My ride may include:

Older RSX Type-S
Older Integra
New VW GTI
New VW GLI
New Subaru WRX
Or something else turbocharged. :D

I'd rather have something which comes from the factory with a turbo instead of installing one myself.

She is flying up there for a day or two to check the place out and do a face to face. If all goes well, we will be going up together later on to look at houses. I'd love to move back up north.
