I recently visited Subaru of Sherman Oaks (previously part of Big Vally Dodge; Big Valley sold the Subaru franchise to Casa Auto Group). They had a blue 2008 Subaru WRX with a few upgrades, so I snapped some pics. Sorry for not being the best, but I got as many of the items I thought important to Subaru enthusiasts. Very nice and extensive pics Kevin. $30,000 is a lot to swallow but it does have a lot of new features. I am more fond of the sedan styling then the hatch but that is just personal preference. Did the interior seem more soft to the touch or does it have hard plastics as in previous models??

looks like the legacy motor cause it is, the new imprezas are based off the legacy now.

Like everyone is saying it looks promising but the Steep 30k price tag is almost that of the STI(Currently). But of course that's prob gonna change once everyone dealer gets a hjold of a few and come year end.

It looks sick, but when did Subaru not paint the brakes this year??? The red 4 pot/2 pots on the 06-07's are sick.

I think mainly because they want to appeal to a wider audience vs young kids/rally enthusiast.

I think it just made the car look a bit classier. Oh well, it's upgradeable!!! haha
Are they still 4/2pots or 2/1pots like they used to be?

Great set of pics...I couldn't tell, but is the standard radio antenna in the rear glass like 04+ models? Or is it integrated somehow with that stubby Sirus antenna on the roof?

^^ Maybe has to do with the new navigation system. I see a lot of those fins on the BMW's/etc that have the nav systems.

Clean looking car, I still like the hatches a bit better though.

I bet the price will come down on the cars soon [at least I hope]. It is the same as when the new body style mustangs came out, the GTs were selling for $5-6k over MSRP, then 6 months later they came down to a sensible price once people stopping paying out the butt to be the first on the block to have one.

Nice shots. I think the door panels are as ugly as sin. They look like design mock-ups.....way to plain....thumbs down. just my .02

Great job on all of the pics! I agree that the interior is blah... but that kind of goes with the new exterior.
